Toyota Tacoma 2008Change

The most useful accessory was the power plug at the back of the bed. Used the outlet to recharge my power tools.

Used as a landscape truck it lacked sufficient tie down points in the bed. There were 2 D-rings in the back but no support in the front. Had to use the plastic rails on the side and hope they didn't fall apart.

The side mirrors did not come with defrosters so in the winter I would have to spend extra time deicing them.

Good balance of power and stability with comfortable interior.

This truck has served our family well since new for the past 6 years now and has been a low cost pleasure to drive. Great off- road capability in a mid size truck package

I love My Toyota Tacoma,it has been a very reliable Truck,
and the 4x4 will take you any were you need to go. The 4.0 L
V 6 has plenty of power,and is good on gas. I would recommend these truck to anybody,and the only reason I am selling my 2008,is I upgraded to a Brand new 2014 Model.

Owning this truck has been a wonderful experience. It hasn't given me a lick of trouble, has been reliable and super fun to drive, especially being a manual transmission. I drove it all over Southern Alberta and in to Eastern B.C. on numerous occasions through all seasons. Had no issues and complete confidence through the harshest conditions over the mountains in the middle of winter. The headlights are the best I've used, even as stock, they project a tonne of light on to the road, great night time visibility.

I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab. I do enjoy the size and performance of this truck. It has good power and good space. The interior features are lacking they could be stepped up especially on the base models.

I do have major concerns with the structure of the truck. With the composite bed I have had no major issues but with the tailgate has bowed out on me. This was from the use of a Toyota Bed Extender Kit. Toyota now strengthens these tailgates but as mine is out of warranty they are not helping me. I wish they would stand behind their products all of them and take accountability. So beware this is a 1/2 truck that does fail at some basic truck duties.

i drive one everyday to and from work to the farm and in the bush. this truck has never let me down.After 4 years of owning it i have only had regular maintance. i haul wood in the winter and even with a full load the truck still preformes great.

i have owned two toyota trucks and have been the best even for towing, caring heaving things in the back of truck and i have a 4 door which is the best to be able to take extra riders.

has exceeded my expectations .No problems with the truck other than the rear leaf springs should be stonger thus increaseing the payload.

In love with my Tacoma..by far best decision..i was not even fully sold on a truck until I test drove mine. Love and first ride!
The ride is so so smooth, yet its rough and tumble and can slip over any bump or hump I can find...in the snow, its amazing- there will be no more late night calls cause my car is stuck on a patch of ice and I can't move!
The big backseat provides me with a car like experience with the added benefits of a truck!
Seats are so comfortable, tons of cup holders, I can't say enough good things about my baby!
Toyotas can honestly run forever and ever with very little issues or maintenance, just doing the basics will keep your car/truck running for years and years!
My first car was a 1993 Camry and shes still running for a kid down the street!

Whether you are hauling a boat, loading up firewood or taking the family to the cottage, this is a great truck! Newer models have added some great creature comforts but still rely on the reliable and tested powertrain.

The paint does chip a little easier then some vehicles and the 2010 older models have limited add-ons.

I have 176,000 km and I have only replaced brakes and tires, everything else has been incredibly reliable.
